THE STORY, AS IT UNFOLDS

Little changes.
A better Scribe.

New ideas, thoughtful improvements, and the details in between.

A workspace taking shape.

The current Windows development build brings together the core Scribe workflow. These are implemented features in development, rather than an announcement of a downloadable release.

WorkspaceA little order for your thoughts

  • Local notes, drafts, pins, folders and Trash, with search and saved sorting preferences.
  • Markdown editing, reading mode, link previews and keyboard shortcuts, with cursor-position scrolling when switching modes.
  • An offline profile with a display name, separate workspace data and preferences for each account, and profile-specific settings search.
  • Selectable Scribe-backup and Markdown-ZIP export/import in General settings; imports add new copies and ask before restoring reminders.
  • Folder names, colours and icons, plus profile and appearance preferences.

WindowsRight there when you need it

  • Global Quick Capture with folder selection, reminder setup and local saving.
  • Note reminders, custom presets, Windows notifications and notification sounds.
  • Launch at startup and an optional close-to-tray workflow.

Account & syncYour workspace, connected

  • Supabase cloud sync off by default per account and device, with an explanation and confirmation before enabling or disabling it.
  • Offline-profile deletion with typed confirmation; online-account deletion with password and, when enabled, authenticator verification. Both offer Export first.
  • Google/GitHub sign-in and linking, password reset, and TOTP two-step verification.
  • Signed-in device inventory and session sign-out controls.
  • Server-measured 2 MB logical user-content allowance and security hardening prepared for deployment.
